6 Great Value PS4 Games

Posted on

The average PS4 game comes in at $59.99, buy a few and this suddenly mounts up. However, as the PS4 has started to mature, you can now pick-up some of the original titles at a much smaller price. Some publishers have also released games at a dramatically lower cost. It’s also worth mentioning that indie games are generally far lower in price. Looking for a bargain? Let’s take a look at some great examples…

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

This game was released at a slashed price due to the fact it wasn’t as complete as the amazing Wolfenstein: The New Order. However, don’t take that as a negative. This game is packed full of entertaining gameplay that takes you on an enjoyable journey. The graphics are top quality and the story brings out a fantastic FPS experience. What’s more, it’s rare to see a WW2 themed game, and whilst Wolfenstein: The Old Blood does take a futuristic approach, it’s WW2 at the core. Don’t even think twice, this is a must have for those FPS fans out there. I’d even go as far as to say that this is one of the best currently available. However, don’t expect multiplayer, this is solo only.

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture

Indie games always carry a lower price tag and the same is true with Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture. However, many have suggested that this title should be a retail game – it’s just that good. It’s fair to say that you get a lot for your money with this game. For those who love to explore, this one is a no-brainer. After all, you’ll just love the astounding scenery and the puzzles this game delivers. Download this one, you won’t regret it.

Driveclub

Probably the best racing game currently available on PS4. It does what it says on the tin, or should I say box. It’s all about driving, but it goes further, DriveClub has some jaw-dropping graphics and environments to match. You can pick it up now for under $20 or grab a PSN deal which includes a season pass – either way, this one is great value. Also loaded with plenty of content and challenges, there’s plenty here to keep you busy.

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition

Open-world meets and greets Hong Kong, add to the mix hardcore martial arts combat and many other elements which made the GTA franchise so great, and you get Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition. You really can’t go wrong with this one, pick it up today for under $20.

Pure Hold’em World Poker Championships

If you’re a fan of poker then you might want to check out for no deposit bingo, however, you’ll be disappointed with the lack of titles within this specific genre on PS4. This game provides a good overall experience that won’t disappointed. The visuals are nice and gameplay flows well. Pure Hold’em World Poker Championships is your best option for now, this is generally due to the fact that this sub-genre is so limited. With that said, this game is fantastic value and can be picked up for less than $15.

Watch Dogs

It’s open world and it will remind you of GTA, however, there are a few things that separate the two. Watch Dogs places you in a future world where technology rules everything, it’s your hacking skills which manipulate numerous things. The graphics are great and the gameplay is enjoyable. Whilst it’s not quite as entertaining as GTA, in my opinion, it’s definitely worth $20 – and well worth checking out.
